Kate is a New York-based freelance prop and soft goods stylist represented by Pat Bates & Associates. Kate's early talent for styling emerged when Santa brought her a dollhouse. She began arranging her doll furniture, shopping for swatches and paint chips, using her mother's fabric scraps to make miniature curtains and bedspreads, and redecorating for each season and holiday. Kate's stylish great aunt also contributed to her developing sense of style when she offered glamorous dress up opportunities with Pucci scarves, YSL jackets and Charles Jourdan heels. Kate formally pursued her interests, earning a B.A. from Loyola University in Fine Arts and studying Art History at the American University in Paris. After assisting at Nick Jr. and Child Magazines, Kate was on-staff at Anthropologie for 8 years. She worked as a Senior Stylist prior to leaving Anthropologie to join Pat Bates & Associates.
