Through the Joe's Blackbook Scholarship I was able to secure a design internship in New York, which ultimately lead to a full-time job.
Through the networking during the competition, I was approached with the possibility to intern at RL and was offered one after meeting with the University Relations team. During my internship, I won the creative intern competition for that year which left a positive impression with my RL contacts. I returned to California to finish my final year in school, and with graduation only months away, I was contacted by my would-be supervisor regarding an open position available. I expressed my interest and was offered a position. I was able to work out a way to finish up my final credits for school while working and the rest is history. All thanks to the Joe's Blackbook competition.
